Yeah. This unspoken (or, sometimes spoken) thing stopped me asking questions in class eventually. At around my 13-14 years. I still continued to kind of excel because of my mother's push, her really innocent and never-discriminating nurturing. But I never really recovered from the uneasiness, because of the judgmental people. Now I only slightly learnt to avoid the strange looks from people, if a woman is asking questions. I see most women around me like this too. This is not natural. This is cultural.
