Wow... So true!! I have to untie my hair everyday after boarding the office bus (before boarding, I keep it tied to avoid sweating around my neck, avoid loose hair falling on my face all over, entangling and creating a mess, also, to save it from pollution outside), and I know what some of the male colleagues, given their weird mentality that women dress up for men, thinks about it. They must think I'm trying to grab male attention.

The entire infrastructure is made up keeping men at the center of mind, even if a thought about women's different experiences came in mind, people always thought the men in the women's lives would take care of them, no need to have structural inclusion.

And this is exactly why we need at least half the workforce to be female, all over the world, and most importantly, active women representing, thinking about and bringing up the lives and experiences of other women in their work.

I have another example at the top of my mind, example of an uncomfortable clothing of women and some men's narcissistic thought arising from seeing those. Once a guy online was telling me that women definitely want to always grab male attention. Why? Because why else women keep their phones in the backpockets of their jeans? I couldn't come up with an answer then because I was so dumbstruck, but now I think about it and want to just find out that man and let him wear the skinny jeans that are the only wide options of jeans in my country for women (except for very big cities, where we got plenty other types if you got money), and then ask him where he would like to keep the phone. In his front pocket, and get repeatedly poked by it at every step, or, in his hip pocket? And, then would show him the numerous men (now that I actively notice from after facing that weird comment) who keep their mobiles in their hip pockets too, and ask him whose attention are these men grabbing.

Not the initial for Man/Male. After all, this letter is not only reserved for that. It's the initial of my name, and I am a woman.
