In bits and pieces, we’re literally killing ourselves over the significant pressure to look good. And all of that because we’ve been tricked into thinking that if we’re prettier, slimmer, and have a certain body shape, we’re somehow more worthy. Or even ‘empowered.’

This... Too many "beauty product" ads are like this. Nowadays I see a Maybelline NY Mascara ad, at the end, the actresses or models in the ad are made to say " Because we are worth it". Like wth, what do you even mean by that? I would very much like to see the following instead: "These are not worth our time/energy."
