This post is so minutely written and beautiful. As some people here are sharing their coming out experience, I also wanted to share mine. I am not sure exactly where in the spectrum I fall, but I am not a 100% heterosexual for sure. May be I am bi, may be asexual, or maybe I am romantic but asexual. I have shared this with my mom and my closest friend several times. They are my safe space, so I obviously was not judged. But my mom said if I want to live a life like that, I should go abroad and do so, and I also agree with her. My society and my country is too judgemental and homophobic. Its not that people don't live here openly, but their neighbors and relatives and all the other aquitances can make their lives and the lives of their family really worse many times, so its safer to go and live somewhere else where nobody really knows you. And I know this feeling is universal.

Not the initial for Man/Male. After all, this letter is not only reserved for that. It's the initial of my name, and I am a woman.
