This is so very important. The most important reason that explains the female genius gap in society. There's a huge price to pay if you choose to go that path. You'll be seen as non-feminine, masculine (not that there's actually something like these, but society runs by these boxes), audacious, ego-centric. And then you will be outcast, won't find dates/relationships, because they would assume you are out of their league because society teaches us men are supposed to be more intelligent than women, even if you find one, they will either be too insecure, feel inferior or be too abusive in most of the cases. People around you will mock you as bossy, crazy and irresponsible. People will mock your family members as crazy, brainwashed or submissive because they "allowed" you to stray. You'll be called unnatural, because society thinks gender roles and expectations are natural and not a societal construct being continuously held and maintained. And even after all these, you manage to stick to that genius part of yours, because you are very passionate about your work, you'll be discriminated in that field too, some of those very cultured and very educated people, your peers, will very intelligently and efficiently take away the credit and money you deserve, and will you will be forgotten, your work will be named as someone else's as soon as you retire being tired of all these punishments imposed on you for being your most natural self. Then someone will confirm their bias on you, see, she wanted to go "against the nature", see, how she failed!🙃
