That post is really interesting and resourceful. A great read indeed. But what I was saying is hindering women's education and freedom is of course harming the whole society, and hence men, but it's the women who are harmed the most. It's our basic human rights that are being taken away from us, and the harm to the society come later. So, understand it like this, in India, reasonable men and women always fought for women's education, women's voting rights, against child marriage etc. But ultimately they had to show how these things or lack thereof were harming the boys and men of the society to get those rights for women. Or, you can take the example of criminalizing pedophilia in many countries too. Reasonable people had to point out the harm it causes the little boys to make it illegal. Why can't we just admit that these things are harmful to women, half of the humans, and hence criminalize those? Why do we have always prove that they are harmful to men too? Aren't women's harm a good enough reason?
