Sure. The article is about loss, and not blaming the woman essentially. The writer sure expressed his thought of how the woman couldn't consider his life and happiness while divorcing but he himself seems to be well-aware that she got a right to prioritize herself in her own life. I just commented from my perspective and experience, I personally know someone who blames everything on his wife and doesn't want to get a divorce, and anyway, in my country there's no such progressive thing as no-fault divorce, the only way is accusing him which we don't want to do, ever, because he is family and not that bad, at least to his wife's eyes. The second option is mutual agreement. But he would never agree. This is why I understand the importance of a no-fault divorce. And, I pointed that out in case the writer missed/can't see the entirety of the thing.
But btw a no-fault divorce is not a financial resolution, its a legal way of parting ways for legally married people.

Not the initial for Man/Male. After all, this letter is not only reserved for that. It's the initial of my name, and I am a woman.
