If a guy is going to another country which is less developed than theirs and is finding sex and love showing their green card, then that is passport bro-ing and that is definitely not exactly a respectful and responsible thing to do. Many of the commenters here rightfully pointed out most women (and men) from these countries, however educated or financially independent they are, still do hold the American people (and in typical non-Western countries, people hold all western fair-skinned people in very high regard) in a very high status and these men are essentially knowingly using that to extract sex and love from the women. Some people here also rightfully pointed out that if the entire meeting is organic, that the American man go to this country for work or tourism and then happen to meet some woman, that's a different situation, that's not passport bro-ing. But otherwise, be it a young or an old man, it's wrong.
