I went to buy a pair of shoes as a teenager. And was suggested to buy some pink shoes, because apparently I "should like them". And, I bought those, without thinking much, and I realized the stereotype I just faced only after I left the store, and it really made me angry, so much so that I wanted to go back and let the owner know about what nonsense they were selling to people, based on meaningless gender-specific assumptions. But then my mom told me it's not really their fault, we all are taught things like that, and if we don't think individually, we then just repeat those stereotypes like parrots. And we face so many of such gender-sterrotypes every single day in life. But I think we should speak up against those whenever we get the chance, or, have the energy too. So, now, as an adult, I speak up, sometimes, and it keeps me sane.😂

Not the initial for Man/Male. After all, this letter is not only reserved for that. It's the initial of my name, and I am a woman.
